Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her love of performing on theatre. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she landed the role of The Practice. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part on Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and final break-up echoes the final years in Walter White's life.
